Abstract

In this way, students will be able to identify the functional state of sensors and actuators in engines and guarantee their efficient operation, which represents a challenge for automotive mechanics and experts in the area. From this vision, a scientific investigation has been undertaken that follows a quantitative methodology and that aims to contribute with new knowledge that serves as support for professionals in this area. To collect data, a survey containing 10 questions was developed that records the description of the need for a teaching module of sensors and actuators in relation to student learning, materials, performance, durability and useful life. The information was processed and analyzed through a series of statistical procedures that allowed testing the study hypothesis and verifying the achievement of the stated objectives.
