The methodology was carried out under the Structural Analysis method through the MICMAC software that constitutes a contribution to the strategic foresight toolbox for a group of 7 professors. The research identifies how key variables: digital marketing, content creation, content segmentation and social networks as they interact and feedback, generating synergies and optimizing the marketing system. Through the interpretation of the results, the importance of comprehensive and adaptive management is highlighted, emphasizing flexibility and constant monitoring to maximize the impact and effectiveness of the strategies. The findings underline the importance of applying advanced analytical methodologies in making informed decisions, allowing for better use of resources and greater responsiveness to market changes.Keywords: Digital Marketing, Structural Analisys,Content Segmentation, Artificial Intelligence, Content Creation
- ItemArquitectura de la gestión de la investigación en las Instituciones de Educación Superior del Ecuador: Valoración preliminar(2024-03-14) Sequera Morales, Adriana Gabriela; Pineda Varela, Ramón Edecio; Castillo Brito, Eddybelleth YemalaThe current state of research management is one of the aspects that Ecuador should be aware of, especially in light of the need to fill the development gaps present in society. The objective set in this study was to describe the architecture of research in the Higher Education Institutions of Ecuador, with the purpose of assessing how research is being organized in the HEIs, since they are the main actor for the task. research and innovation of the country. The methodology was based on basic, documentary, descriptive level research. Document analysis was used as a technique for collecting information, through the review of the information presented by the HEIs on their websites. The instrument was an information systematization sheet where data on the organization of research and innovation in HEIs is evidenced. The analysis categories considered were: Human Talent dedicated to research, Research Groups, number of laboratories, promotion of research and innovation through calls for projects. The population under study were the Higher Education Institutions of Ecuador with published research data on their institutional websites. It is concluded that there are consolidated HEIs within research management, but also HEIs with evident weaknesses in the organization of research management.
- ItemComprensión y manejo de la diabetes mellitus: una revisión bibliográfica(2024-09-22) Zurita Guevara, José Robert; Pineda Varela, Ramón Edecio; Morales, Juan Pablo; Solís Loor, Teresa AntoniaDiabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disease characterized by hyperglycemia and affects millions of people worldwide. The prevalence of type 1 and 2 DM has been increasing in recent years and is a significant morbidity burden. The objective of this research was to carry out a bibliographic review on diabetes mellitus, from the epidemiology of the disease to treatment and management strategies. Using databases such as PubMed, Scopus and Web of Science, with articles published from 2019 to 2024. Accordingto the data collected, diabetes mellitus is a phenomenon with global prevalence and forecasts of an increase of 46% in 2045. The research carried out allowed us to identify theoretical and conceptual references that support diabetes mellitus, its pathophysiology, management and prevention. The comprehensive approach of current therapies was demonstrated, which includes glycemic control, lifestyle change and prevention of morbidity and allows facing the risk factors to which one is exposed through a personalization of the intervention. Novel technologies such as continuous glucose level monitoring and incretin-based therapies show positive results in the treatment of the disease.
- ItemContribución de la gestión de Consulting Group Ecuador al sistema de salud: un estudio del voluntariado 2018-2023(2024-09-25) Zurita Guevara, José Roberto; Benavides, Alexis; Zambrano Ibarra, Alexandra Lilibeth; Pedraza González, Xenia; Vaca Bedoya, Marco AndrésThis study assessed the impact of Consulting Group Ecuador (CGE)'s management on the optimization of eco-nomic resources in the health system of Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas through volunteer work (2018-2023). A quantitative approach with a cross-sectional descriptive design was used. The sample included five auxiliary qualifications and three health mentions, totaling 4,800 graduated students who completed volunteer hours. For data collection, a registration form was applied, allowing for the systematization of variables such as: year, qualification, number of graduates, volunteer hours, and the economic value of such contributions. The analy-sis included a time series evaluation and cross-tabulation to identify trends in annual economic contributions. The most significant result was that the economic contribution peaked in 2022 with $2,251,664, coinciding with a higher number of graduates that year and, consequently, an increase in the number of volunteer hours completed. Volunteering has been a key resource for the health system; through the synergy achieved in this activity, CGE has significantly contributed to critical health areas such as the COVID-19 pandemic and has simultaneously managed to strengthen the practical training of students.
- ItemEficacia de una metodología de educación digital en la enseñanza de anatomía y fisiología: un estudio cuasiexperimental(2025-06-10) Zurita Guevara, José Roberto; Fernández Pérez, Mery Valeria; Olvera Cisneros, Marco Antonio; Tipán Villalta, Viviana ElizabethTeaching anatomy within technical health education programs involves numerous difficulties, especially in fostering spatial awareness, recognizing anatomical structures, and translating theoretical knowledge into practice. This research investigates the effectiveness of digital educational tools—specifically the Atlas 3 platform—in enhancing hands-on anatomical learning for students enrolled in an Emergency Medical Technician course. A quasi-experimental approach was adopted, involving a sample of 23 students. Two assessment tools were administered to evaluate anatomical comprehension and familiarity with digital resources. The collected data were analyzed using both descriptive and inferential statistics, with a focus on the paired samples t-test. Results demonstrated a significant improvement in students’ performance after engaging with Atlas 3: anatomy knowledge scores rose from 6.4 to 7.7, and proficiency in using digital tools increased from 5.5 to 8.2. Statistical analysis confirmed these differences as significant (p = 0.019). Overall, incorporating digital platforms like Atlas 3 into anatomy instruction proves to be a valuable teaching method, enriching student learning and supporting skill development in technical healthcare training environments.
- ItemEpidemiología, diagnóstico y manejo de la hipertensión arterial en Ecuador: Un análisis integral desde una revisión de la literatura(2024-05-20) Pineda Varela, Ramón Edecio; Zurita Guevara, José Roberto; Morales, Juan Pablo; Solís Loor, Teresa Antonia; Zambrano, AlexandraThis study addresses arterial hypertension (AHT) as a critical public health problem in Ecuador; it examined its epidemiology, diagnosis, treatment and risk factors. A literature and documentary review methodology was used to analyze publications between 2018 and 2024, which included scientific articles, books, and theses available on recognized platforms such as Google Scholar, PubMed, ScienceDirect, and Dialnet. This method ensured the accuracy and relevance of the information by applying strict inclusion and exclusion criteria, with a specific focus on studies on epidemiology, diagnosis, treatment, and risk factors of arterial hypertension in Ecuador. The findings reveal significant variability in the prevalence of HT among different regions and de-mographic groups, highlighting the need for culturally tailored management and treatment approaches. The importance of early detection and effective management of HT was highlighted to prevent serious complica-tions in vital organs and reduce associated mortality. The conclusions underscore the urgency of improving diagnostic and treatment strategies, integrating both pharmacological interventions and lifestyle modifications. It identifies the need for more personalized and culturally sensitive public health policies to address variability in the prevalence and management of HTN. The study also recommends strengthening public education and awareness of HT to encourage earlier detection and effective management, with a view toward future research that will delve deeper into the causes of the observed disparities and develop more effective intervention me-thods that consider genetic and environmental factors.
- ItemEvaluación bibliométrica y funcional del sistema Ruray Ñan-Neobook: Implementación de recursos educativos adaptativos para solventar necesidades detectadas en diagnósticos pedagógicos(EDITORIAL SCIENTIFIC FUTURE, 2025-07-23) Tamayo Ruiz, Carlos; Paz Salas, NatalyThis article analyzes the implementation and evaluation of an educational system developed in Ruray Ñan-Neobook, aimed at addressing diagnosed pedagogical needs in elementary school students. A bibliometric approach is used to support the relevance and relevance of adaptive educational technologies, followed by an experimental phase to measure improved student performance. The study includes system validation, data collection through pre-and post-tests, and statistical analysis of the results. The objective of this study is to analyze the Ruray Ñan-Neobook system from a bibliometric and functional perspective, through a comprehensive evaluation that considers its theoretical foundation and practical applicability, in order to determine its effectiveness as an adaptive educational resource in addressing needs identified through pedagogical diagnoses in vulnerable educational contexts. The methodology has a mixed approach and consisted of four phases: 1) Geospatial analysis with ArcGIS; 2) System development in Ruray Ñan-Neobook; 3) Functional evaluation using the MOSCA SED methodology; 4) Measurement of pedagogical impact with pre-and post-tests. The results show that the Ruray Ñan-Neobook system improved the motivation, understanding, and autonomy of students in vulnerable contexts. Its implementation facilitated personalized learning, offline use, and greater educational inclusion. Teachers and students recognized its usefulness in responding to real needs in the environment. In conclusion, Ruray Ñan-Neobook is an effective and replicable solution for vulnerable contexts. Its adaptive and contextual approach improves learning and promotes more inclusive and equitable education

For this reason, performance evaluation is one of the most viable mechanisms to guarantee the quality of service that is desired to be provided. The objective of this research is to characterize the key theoretical elements of performance evaluation for the optimization of human capitalmanagement in Higher Education Institutions. The methodology was framed in documentary analysis based on theoretical categories such as Work Performance and Performance Evaluation, using refereed and indexed journals as a source of information. The procedure used consisted of a documentary review through categories and central questions. The results showed the importance of human capital management from skills and knowledge as a source of competitive advantage to optimize work and organizational performance. HEIs are institutions where knowledge is produced, which is why they require a good performance evaluation system that allows the institution to be directed from competencies to growth, competitiveness and development.
- ItemFormación de jóvenes auxiliares: un análisis de la evolución de graduados en Consulting Group Ecuador(2024-11-04) Pedraza González, Xenia; Vaca Bedoya, Marco Andrés; Solís Loor, Teresa Antonia; Zambrano Ibarra, Alexandra LilibethThe study, carried out at Consulting Group Ecuador, Santo Domingo headquarters, aimed to analyze the number of graduates and dropout trends in health assistant degrees between 2018 and 2023. With a quantitative approach and a descriptive cross-sectional design, 6,154 students from five auxiliary training courses and three health specialties, such as Prehospital Care (APH) and Nursing, were studied. For data collection, a registration form was used, where variables such as year, degree, number of enrollees, dropouts, causes of dropout and graduates were included. The data were processed in Excel and analyzed in SPSS using ANOVA to evaluate significant differences in graduation and dropout. The results showed a sustained growth of graduates, especially in Nursing and APH. The initial dropout rate was higher in the first modules, progressively decreasing. The main causes of dropout were a lack of vocation in the first modules, academic difficulties and economic problems, accentuated during the COVID-19 pandemic. It was concluded that, although the training capacity increased, reflected in a high number of graduates and a dropout rate of less than 22%, it is recommended to reinforce early vocational guidance interventions; contributing to reducing dropout and consolidating the achievements observed in the training of health assistants.

The present research aims to "Characterize the elements of Marketing tools for the development of sustainable scientific production." The study was framed in documentary research. Conceptual cartography was used as a method, taking theoretical references following eight conceptual axes related to the study variables of digital marketing strategies. As a result, a limited amount of bibliography was evidenced on the application of marketing strategies, marketing mix, their importance, planning strategies, their impact on organizations, evidencing the need to continue investigating in this field of study

The objective of this research is to determine the relationship between digital teaching methodologies and the learning process in the Initial Education Schools integrated into the Rights Protection Executing Unit. The study was framed within the quantitative-correlational approach. The data collection technique was the survey using a Likert Type Scale. The data analysis was inferential by calculating the Spearman correlation coefficient. As a result, the influence of Digital Teaching Methodologies on learning in early education was verified; the transformation of teaching towards methodologies that integrate pedagogy and technology is necessary for the training of citizens in a knowledge society

Considering the methodological aspect, the study is framed in qualitative research and interpretive paradigm. The data collection techniques were the interview; data analysis was carried out through coding, categorization and triangulation. The findings yielded three ca-tegories that consider a diversity of strategies under the conception of active, collaborative and project-based learning; as well as the inte-gration of some AI tools for the design of personalized activities that guarantee interactive and meaningful learning.

Therefore, higher education is a field greatly influenced by these global dynamics, which guide the transformation of the substantive functions of Higher Education Institutions. The objective of the research is "To configure a theoretical structure of the elements of artificial intelligence from an active, collaborative and interactive conception of teaching and learning in Higher Education". The study is of a documentary type with a descriptive approach. An approach was made to the input theories that make up the indispensable elements of the artificial intelligence variables and the active teaching-learning methodologies. The data collection technique was documentary analysis, the instrument was the content map under the Bagozzi Model and the information was processed through content analysis. The results showed that technological advances and globalization demand that Higher Education must adapt to these changes and reorient its teaching function to improve educational quality. Likewise, a series of theoretical concepts were generated where their relationships exposed the potentialities that Artificial Intelligence has in the Active Methodologies of teaching and learning, since personnel and students are able to learn from them

A descriptivequantitative design was employed, and a validatedsurvey was administered to the institution’s 23faculty members. The 12‐item Likert‐scalequestionnaire explored instructors’ perceptions of AIin research and social engagement. The resultsshowed that most professors viewed theincorporation of AI positively: 66.7 % believed itimproved the quality of research projects, 58.4 % feltit facilitated the search for and organization ofacademic information, and 41.7 % perceived that itencouraged more innovative research. However, only75 % felt prepared to integrate these tools, and 66.7% highlighted associated ethical challenges.Likewise, 50% of participants indicated that AIstrengthened community processes, although only41.7 % had actually used it in practical activities.Additionally, 66.7 % emphasized the need to developnew communication strategies. It was concludedthat AI served as a valuable resource for optimizingresearch and community interaction, but itsimplementation required enhanced faculty training,the establishment of clear ethical frameworks, and areduction in the gap between perception andpractical application
- ItemLa percepción de los docentes sobre las capacidades y desafíos asociados al uso de la inteligencia artificial generativa como práctica innovadora en la gestión docente(2025-05-14) Soriano Centeno, Andrea Fernanda; Sarchi Guerrero, Jhony Alejandro; Contreras Chiquito, Evelin Karina; Rojas Rojas, Justo AntonioThis study analyzed the perceptions of faculty members at the Instituto Superior Tecnológico Consulting Group Ecuador –Esculapio, Santo Domingo Campus, regarding the capabilities and challenges associated with the use of generative artificial intelligence (GAI) as an innovative practice in teaching management. Using a quantitative, descriptive-correlational approach and cross-sectional design, a structured survey was administered to a purposive sample of 19 active faculty members. The results revealed a positive and significant correlation between knowledge of GAI and variables such as perceived benefits, willingness to change, and perception of institutional impact. In contrast, no significant relationship was found between knowledge and concerns or challenges, suggesting that the latter do not depend exclusively on the level of technological literacy. It is concluded that knowledge of GAI is a key factor for its appropriation in teaching practice, but that its implementation must be accompanied by comprehensive training processes that include both technical skills and ethical reflection. This study provides relevant evidence for the design of institutional policies aimed at strengthening the culture of innovation in Ecuadorian higher education.

This study evaluates teachers' perceptions of the capabilities and challenges associated with AI at El Carmen Educational Unit, Ecuador. Using a quantitative-descriptive approach, a survey was applied to the 21 teachers at the institution, exploring three dimensions: knowledge about AI, AI capabilities in education, and AI challenges. The results indicate that while most teachers have basic knowledge about AI, there is a significant gap in their familiarity with practical applications and ethical aspects. Teachers positively value AI's capabilities to personalize teaching and improve access to digital resources but express concerns about data privacy and the potential replacement of teaching roles. This study underscores the need for teacher training programs that address both technical and ethical aspects of AI, and highlights the importance of clear privacy and security policies. By better understanding teachers' perceptions, effective strategies can be designed to integrate AI into the educational system, maximizing its benefits and mitigating its challenges

The present study aims to analyze global scientific output on personal branding among university students, identifying trends, approaches, and emerging areas of research. A quantitative bibliometric methodology was applied, using the SCOPUS database for the period 2020–2025. The search was conducted using a broad set of keywords in Spanish and English related to personal branding, higher education, and professional development. The analysis considered variables such as authors, number of publications, affiliations, countries, areas of knowledge, document types, co-authorship networks, and keyword density.The results show sustained growth in production, with an 80% increase in 2024 compared to 2023. The United States leads with 40% of the documents, followed by Indonesia and Australia. Social Sciences and Administration predominate, with a growing participation of Engineering and Computing. The most frequent keywords are higher education, students, career development, personal branding, and leadership. It is concluded that the topic is expanding but requires strengthening research networks, funding, and international collaboration

By means of a bibliometric analysis, the research variables: marketing 5.0 and personal branding, were analyzed to understand the level of high impact scientific production for the aforementioned variables. Among the main findings it is highlighted that the level of scientific production corresponds to 75.3% of scientific articles, followed by 10% of conferences, 6.5% of scientific review material, 5.20% of book chapters, 2.5% of high impact books and the difference corresponds to academic writings presented in various formats that deal with marketing 5.0 and artificial intelligence applied to the context of brand positioning. The educational sector is a crucial context where teaching and learning methodologies that integrate ICTs must emerge, as education is the means of training and preparing future citizens. This research aims to "Characterize the theoretical dimensions of Digital Didactic Methodologies for Strengthening the Teaching - Learning Process in Early Childhood Education." The study was framed withindocumentary research. The method used was conceptual mapping, drawing on theoretical references across eight conceptual axes related to the study variables "Digital Didactic Methodologies" and "Learning in Early Childhood Education." The results revealed a limited amount of literature on the application of digital teaching methodologies at the early childhood level, highlighting the need to delve deeper into this field of knowledge. However, the study successfully conceptualized the essential elements for effective teaching through ICT mediation, including: the characteristics and needs of students, didactic methodologies, and pedagogical strategies from active educational approaches that can be linked with technological tools.

The purpose of this research is to reveal from the meanings of teachers the use of digital tools in the teaching and learning process in the area of sublevel 2 of the Early Childhood Education Schools integrated into the Executive Unit for theProtection of Rights. The study is framed within qualitative research, the data collection technique was the interview and the methodology used was Van Manen's hermeneutic phenomenology. The findings revealed a perception of teachers towards the integration of technology into early education since from their experience they are beneficial for learning. However, they highlight the balanced and supervised use of these tools in order to take full advantage of their benefits, at the same time, they express that in order to develop the skills of the 21st century, a transformation and renewal of educational models is required from the initial level.
