    In Ecuador, adolescents between 16 and 19 years old, with 50%, suffer from obesity and overweight, which causes a serious public health problem with the great problem of eating disorders, leading to suffer from various pathologies in adulthood.The Organic Law of Health, in Ecuador, establishes that the prevention, guidance, control and surveillance in matters of nutrition, overweight, obesity and other eating disorders, that programs and information campaigns on good eating habits, good nutrition and physical activity must be promoted and promoted to counteract overweight, obesity and eating disorders in adolescents. In this way, this research with a positivist paradigm, quantitative, deductive, non-experimental, descriptive, descriptive, field approach, aimed to determine the predisposing factors of obesity and overweight in adolescents users of the Conocoto Infocenter. For this research, information was collected through an interview with adolescents from the Conocoto Infocenter and a bibliographic review, which can be concluded with the research that the conclusions and recommendations emphasize the importance of preventing obesity and overweight in adolescents at the Conocoto Infocenter.
